From August 31st to October 10th the weather changed to warm beautiful days and cool nights. It was a replay of 1986 and 2002, totally unexpected and totally welcome. Most of the white grapes were picked from 4th October. The weather was warm and dry.
We have noted a temperature of 29°C under shelter. The weather was ideal for the harvest of noble rotten and late harvest grapes.
Clarendelle Amberwine has a wonderful golden yellow colour, an intense fruit aroma with hints of dried apricots, ripe peach and pear combined with subtle note of pineapple and orange flower. The wine displays full ripe fruit and enjoys a beautiful balanced acidity with a long finish.
